Which part is English and which is German? As someone who isbilingual (German / English), I often ask myself this question. Why do I talkabout my household in German, but get angry in English? Bilingualism is aboutmore than simply being able to speak two languages. In fact, it is a phenomenon about which linguists are still divided. In our language feature this month (pp.14-21), Vivienne Arnold and Jo Westcombe look at the latest findings onthe topic and ask bilinguals about their experiences.
