Kurzbeschreibung zu "Poe, Edgar Allan - The Tell-Tale-Heart"

Edgar Allan Poe (1809-1849) is generally considered one of the greatest American masters of horror and suspense. He became famous for his morbid short stories and mysterious and macabre poetry. His work is also regarded as initially introducing the genre of detective-fiction, including such early titles as “The Fall of the House of Usher” or “The Raven”.

“The Tell-Tale Heart” figures as one of Poe´s most known masterpieces. The short story is told through the eyes of an obviously insane narrator who tries to justify the murder of an old man whose “Evil Eye” has driven him crazy.
