McGough, Roger - The Icingbus

Roger McGough (*1937) was born in Liverpool and first made himself a name as one of the “Liverpool Poets”. Besides having written numerous poems, he also is a playwright, broadcaster and children´s author. McGough has twice won the Signal Poetry Awards, once in 1984 and again in 1999.
